Rocksbox (haul & review)

Hello ladies! I received my first Rocksbox about 2 weeks ago and could not wait to dedicate a post to share what I received and my thoughts about this company.

I received three items which are a pair of earrings with a beautiful pop of pink, a subtle statement necklace and a silver cuff. Out of the three I cannot pick out my favorite because I love all three but I have been wearing the necklace the most. I wore it over the weekend and talked about it on Mondays post. They came just in time for the holidays and will be a part of what I wear on both, Christmas and New Years eve.

Have you heard of Rocksbox? If not, let me tell you a little something about this company. The cool thing about Rocksbox is that you take a style survey and a stylist picks out what gets sent to you based on the quick questions you answer. You will receive a set of 3 items with a monthly subscription fee of $19.00. Something that I really like about Rocksbox is that you can swap out a set you have already received for something new or make a purchase with 20% off. Rocksbox makes it feel like you are receiving a present even though its from yourself. The packaging is adorable as you can see in the pictures. You receive your items individually packaged in jewelry pouches. These pouches are neatly placed inside of a white box that ties with a ribbon and has the Rocksbox logo. You also receive a note which is super personalized with your name and the wrapping paper is also so cute.

I am more than happy with my first box and cannot wait to receive my second one next month. I will be definitely sharing my next box with you guys! If you are interested and would like to sign up with Rocksbox, use code MakeMeShine to receive your first moth for only $19.00 and a surprise. Hurry, this code is only valid for 3 more days. Hello! I don't usually post on my blog this late but with Christmas right around the corner my husband and I finally went out Christmas shopping today and got home pretty late. I wore this outfit over the weekend and I wanted to share it because of this gorgeous blouse. I have been following an awesome fashionista on instagram (@senoritacasen) who sells some of the items from her closet and when I saw this blouse for sell I knew it had to be mine. Flowers are mainly for the spring/summer but I think that the dark blue hues are perfect for this time of the year and the light pink color is in this winter. I wore it with black faux leather pants to make the outfit feel even more winter-y. The booties complemented the blouse and I felt like it pulled the whole look together. I layered my new favorite statement necklace from that was recently sent to me. If you are interested in subscribing with this company, click hereI will be posting a review of rocksbox and sharing what I received in my first box this week. Thank you for visiting my blog!

Get Ready With Me - Holiday Edition (gold eyes, dark lip and voluminous curls)

Hello! I am back with another video and this one will be a get ready with me - holiday edition. I wore this makeup for Thanksgiving and plan on doing something similar for Christmas and New Years eve as well. I am not a professional when it comes to makeup so I always go for neutral eyes. For Thanksgiving dinner, I went simple on my eyes with gold shimmery colors and added a bold lip. I love this combination and think it goes perfect with the gold sequined dress. The dress is by French Connection and I purchased it from Dillards about 2 years ago so most likely it is now out of stock bur I will be linking similar styles down below. I will also be listing all products that I used in the video down below in the order that they were used. Thank you so much for visiting my blog and I hope you enjoy todays video:
